Exam board: Pearson Edexcel

The material has been created and is presented by Ruth Ward, a highly experienced teacher (subject lead in her secondary school) who brings in-depth knowledge and experience of delivering the syllabus.

The course consists of 8 units and provides comprehensive material to build and develop language skills. The lessons are delivered via pre recorded video lessons and provide plenty of practice in the skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening. Furthermore, students can work at their own pace as they build their confidence and can return to lessons as often as required.

Ruth will introduce students to the requirements of the exams during the course. Links to past exam papers with marking schemes are provided which help students to gain a thorough understanding of what is required to be successful in the exams.

Please note: The course consists of 8 units. On purchase, students will have access to Units 1 – 4. Unit 5 will be available during April and the remaining 3 units will be added during May and June 2026.

Please note: there is no requirement to take the exams. We have students following our courses out of interest in the subjects but who are not necessarily planning to take the exams.
