Course overview

Exam board: AQA

This online course provides comprehensive material for the AQA syllabus.

The course is presented via video lessons and provides plenty of practice in the skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening.

Lili has created an engaging course in which students have the benefit of hearing authentic spoken French. Furthermore, students can work at their own pace as they build their confidence and skills in the language.

The course covers the following 3 themes:

Theme 1: Identity and culture

Theme 2: Local, national, international and global areas of interest

Theme 3: Current and future study and employment

Lili will introduce students to the requirements of the exams during the course. Links to past exam papers with marking schemes are provided which help students to gain a thorough understanding of what is required to be successful in the exams.

For information about booking exams with an exam centre, please view our information here.

Please note: there is no requirement to take the exams. We have students following our courses out of interest in the subjects but who are not necessarily planning to take the exams.

The course consists of 12 units. On purchasing the course, students will have access to all 12 Units.

Required textbook: AQA GCSE French Higher, Oxford Press, ISBN: 978-0-19-836583-9

These are available from online retailers or you could contact your local bookshop.
