You could discuss the following:

Eurycleia (trusts)
other female servants such as Melantho and the maids (does not trust)
male servants such as Eumaeus and Melanthius (trusts one but not the other). Why?

2. How far do you think Odysseus is responsible for the sufferings of his men?

You could:

consider what happens to Odysseus’ men during their travels
discuss the extent to which Odysseus is to blame for their hardships
discuss the concept of the unreliable narrator
